2008 Season Outlook
After parting with rookie Aric Almirola, who replaced the unproven Scott Wimmer, Bill Davis will look down another avenue for his 2008 driver - the past. Davis brings on Steve Park to drive the #22 Toyota in 2008, giving Park his first Cup start since 2003. Injuries have derailed Park's career, who once showed tremendous promise in the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Park hasn't stepped out of the racecar completely, as he has raced modifieds in his Sprint Cup absence. Having the new COT will surely help Park not be too far behind the other drivers, but it's fair to say he might experience some rust at the beginning of the season. That being said, he did show potential back in the day. Because of that, it's hard to handicap how well Park will fare, but he shouldn't be too far off of what Wimmer and Almirola have done in the past few years.
