2008 Season Outlook
Longtime Nationwide Series team JTG Racing will make its first foray into the Sprint Cup Series in 2008, with one scheduled race at Watkins Glen. Tasmanian driver Marcos Ambrose will drive at the event, as he continues to prepare in the Nationwide Series for an eventual full-time Cup run in 2009 or 2010. Ambrose comes from the V8 series, and is accustomed to road course racing, so despite JTG Racing's inexperience at the Cup level, Ambrose should be expected to compete for a top 10 at The Glen.
