2008 Season Outlook
The #16 3M Ford will run once again full-time in the Nationwide Series as Jack Roush has formed a solid trio of drivers to man the wheel. The man who will drive most frequently is Kyle Busch, who will appear in 22 of the 36 races. Busch is a dominant driver in the Nationwide Series, with 56 top 10s in 108 starts and a win every year he has competed more than 7 races. Along with Busch, Cup driver Todd Kluever will make 5 appearances at the tracks he believes he needs to work on. A rather awful rookie Cup season left Kluever with his confidence shaken, and he will moonlight in NNS occasionally to help restore that confidence. Filling out the roster is Colin Braun, a lanky 19-year old who will drive in 9 races. Braun had one NNS and CTS start last year for Roush, with underwhelming results, but performed very well in ARCA, with an average finish of 7 in just 3 races. Braun also brings an impressive road racing resume, with multiple wins in the Grand-Am Series prior to his 18th birthday. With veteran crew chief Eddie Pardue atop the pit box and the feisty Busch behind the wheel, fans should absolutely expect the #16 to visit Victory Lane at least once in 2008.
