Race #3 - Leland Industries 300 Pres. by Johnsonville
It was a clear day in Innisfil, Ontario, Canada as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series entered Round 3 of the 2015 season at the Sunset Speedway for the inaugural Leland Industries 300 Pres. by Johnsonville.
Scott Steckly led the field to the Green Flag but it would be Alex Tagliani who would lead the first lap before Steckly would retake the lead and began to pull away from the field as drivers raced on the brand new track for the first time as Jason White would become the first retiree of the track, lasting only twenty nine laps before falling out due to mechanical issues. Steckly would lead the first quarter of the race before the first caution would come out as several drivers would pit and others would try and use pit strategies and would result in multiple lead changes however it would be Steckly who would finally break through for the first time in nearly two years and score the win.
