Race #10 - Pinty's Presents the Clarington 200
It was a clear day in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series entered Round 10 of the 2015 season at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park for the Pinty's Presents the Clarington 200.
Jason Hathaway led the field to the Green Flag and would quickly begin to show that not only is he a short track driver but could handle himself well on road courses and had a day long battle with Jeff Lapcevich and Louis-Philippe Dumoulin before Lapcevich took over late and appeared on his way to victory. Kevin Lacroix, who had amazed fans by winning in his previous two road course starts by leading every lap, struggled all day long and before the leaders could take the White Flag, Lacroix stalled on the track, setting up for a Green, White, Checkered Finish. Jeff Lapcevich was able to get a great jump on the restart and easily held on for his second career win, with both coming at CTMP.
