Race #8 - Pronto Auto Parts 400K
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series made their eighth stop of 1998 at the Texas Motor Speedway, in Fort Worth, Texas, for the Pronto Auto Parts 400K.
Tony Raines led the field to the green flag as for the second time in series history drivers raced at the Texas Motor Speedway, but it Andy Houston who made a daring three wide pass going into Turn 1 who would lead the first lap. Houston and Raines would swap the lead two more times before Kevin Harvick worked his way into the lead as he would lead for much of the first hundred laps, swapping the lead himself with Tony Roper before Houston would take the lead back as Houston would show his talents just like he had done at Phoenix, pulling away from all challengers, losing the lead only during round of pit stops.
Houston would take the lead with twenty six laps to go after the final pit stops while Kevin Harvick began to cut down the lead, having been nearly ten seconds behind, cutting it down to four seconds, but it wasn't enough as Houston would score his second win of his career and the second of 1998.

Race #9 - Loadhandler 200
Ron Hornaday Jr. led the field to the green as he would lead for the first half of the event before Jay Sauter took control. Once in the lead, Sauter would dominate the race but with less then ten laps to go, Sauter's Camshaft broke ending his shot at scoring another win at Bristol, handing the lead over to Ron Barfield Jr. who would lead until the last lap as Randy Tolsma took the lead with one lap to go and would hold off Barfield for the remaining lap and score his first career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series win.

Race #10 - DieHard 200
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series made their 10th stop of 1998 at the Milwaukee Mile, in West Allis, Wisconsin, for the DieHard 200.
Ron Hornaday Jr. led the field to the green flag for the second race in a row and would lead the first lap as Hornaday would have a race long battle with Jimmy Hensley and Mike Bliss as all three drivers would swap the lead as Bliss would take the lead late and appeared on his way to victory but Hornaday used the lapped truck of Rob Morgan to take the lead and he appeared on his way to victory, but it took Bliss only three laps to retake the lead and he would hold off Hornaday to score his 6th career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series win.
