(Well, I goofed on 2 fronts, 1. no Stacy Compton, lets just say his hauler got wrecked, and 2. Forgot to save the replay. Well Whatever)
Welcome back to the TPG Sports post race broadcast, this race was filled with excitement. The winner of the race came from the tail end of the field, as Randy LaJoie took home a surprise victory, holding off the likes of Matt Kenseth, Greg Biffle, and rookie Denny Hamlin. This race was filled with drama, with lead changing every 3-4 laps. Despite this, the strongest cars led the most laps. Race Winner Lajoie won his 4th Daytona season opening race, showing his plate track prowess, and gaining valuable owners points for the rejuvenated Frank CiCi Racing. Two retirements occurred this race, David Stremme blew a motor past half way, and Kasey Kahne ran into the back of Kertus Davis as he was entering his stall, ending his day. Ryan Hemphill also blown a motor as he crossed the line. Said damage brought out a debris caution, which bunched the field up from 3 packs to one big pack, which drastically altered the outcome.
