Race #3 - A&W 300
It was a clear day in Barrie, Ontario, Canada as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series entered Round 3 of the 2008 season at the Barrie Speedway for the A&W 300.
J.R. Fitzpatrick led the field to the Green Flag and would jump out to an early lead as a relative calm race, with only two cautions, would allow the fans in attendance a great showing in the form of side-by-side racing. Fitzpatrick would lose the lead early to D.J. Kennington, who would go on to dominate the race, leading 219 of the 300 laps, but two late cautions would allow Scott Steckly to not only cut into his ten second lead, but he was able to take the lead with fifty laps to go, and would pull away in the last few laps to score his second career win.
Other Noticeables: Scott Steckly scored his 1st win of the season, Steckly led 1 time for 50 laps, which were the final 50 laps, It was the 2nd win of his career in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series and his first since 2007 at Kawartha; 3 races ago, Scott Steckly, who finished 1st, is the points leader, leading Peter Gibbons by 20 points

The field has finished qualifying for the 4th race of the season the National Kodak 250 at the Autodrome St. Eustache.
Brad Graham won the pole, with a time of 20.938 seconds, beating Scott Steckly by 0.003 seconds.

Race #4 - National Kodak 250
It was a clear night in St. Eustache, Quebec, Canada as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series entered Round 4 of the 2008 season at the Autodrome St. Eustache for the National Kodak 250.
Brad Graham led the field to the Green Flag but it was points leader Scott Steckly who would lead the first lap before Graham would retake the lead back one lap later as Grahm would keep Steckly behind him till Lap 17 when Steckly retook the lead, only to lose it back two laps later when Graham took the lead back. Graham would keep the lead another eight laps before he was passed by J.R. Fitzpatrick, who began to put distance between himself and his challengers. With no cautions coming out in the first half of the race, Kerry Micks had worked his way from his 5th starting spot and on Lap 110, Micks took the lead, and despite a caution shortly there after and Steckly trying to retake the lead, Micks would never be passed and would score his second win of 2008.
Other Noticeables: Kerry Micks scored his 2nd win of the season, Micks led 1 time for 141 laps, which were the final 141 laps, It was the 4th win of his career in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series and his first since Cayuga; 3 races ago, Patrick Laperle, who finished 6th, made his NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, Scott Steckly, who finished 1st, is the points leader, leading Kerry Micks by 57 points

Race #5 - A&W Crusin' The Dub 300
It was a cloudy day in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series entered Round 5 of the 2008 season at the Sun Valley Speedway for the A&W Crusin' The Dub 300.
Jason White led the field to the Green Flag but it was D.J. Kennington who would lead the first three laps before White took the lead back as a cloudy day allowed for for cool track conditions allowing the drivers to have a great battle. The lead would swap hands five times before the first hundred laps as John Gaunt would lead for much of the event, 161 of the 300 laps, but found himself trailing behind several drivers after a rash of several late cautions, until he finally took it back before the sixth and final one. Back out in the lead, Gaunt pulled away for the remaining thirty four laps and would easily hold off Brad Graham for his first career win.
Other Noticeables: John Gaunt scored his 1st win of the season, Gaunt led 3 times for 161 laps, including the final 34 laps, It was the 1st win of his career in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series in his 17th start, Scott Steckly, who finished 4th, kept his points lead, leading Kerry Micks by 98 points
