Green flag!Lap 2; Dale Earnhardt takes the lead followed by Bill Elliott Lap 6; Wally Dallenbach Jr spins into the wall after a contact with Jim Sauter. Lap 14; Davey Allison takes the lead out of turn 4, but the battle for the lead is not over. In the following laps Elliott, Martin and Marlin will take the lead Lap 31; Earnhardt and Elliot, who took two tires on the last stop, are now 16th and 17th. Up front Wallace takes the lead Lap 39, green flag pit stops. Wallace leads with +2 sec over Geoffrey Bodine Lap 57; the Top 4 in one shot. The #25 destroys his front end and both cars are out of the race. All the drivers pit during this caution, but with about 30 laps to go the fuel may not be enough to end the race Lap 105; Alan Kulwicki takes the 2nd place with Wallace in front of him Lap 117; +0.46 sec is the gap between the #2 and the #7 with 15 laps to go Lap 127; Wallace can't make it to the finish.
