Race #7 - Super Molson 100
The NASCAR North Tour made their 7th stop of 1980 in Val Belair, Quebec, Canada at the Autodrome Val Belair, for the Super Molson 100.
Jamie Aube led the field to the Green Flag but it was Jamie Aube who would lead the first nineteen laps before Langis Caron passed him briefly before Aube took the lead back four laps later. After taking the lead back, Aube pulled away from his challengers over the next eighty laps while lapping drivers slowly, but with ten to go he was stuck behind lap traffic, which allowed Roger Laperle to close front two seconds to being right on his bumper. No matter how many times he tried, Laperle could never time his move right to pass Aube as the drivers took two laps to go, Laperle made a move in Turn 3, spinning Aube out of the lead and took the white flag to a round of boos. Since the white flag had been displayed, Laperle drove around the next lap and would be scored the controversial win.

Race #10 - Laval 80
The NASCAR North Tour Series made their 10th stop of 1980 in Laval, Quebec, Canada at the Autodrome de Laval, for the Laval 80.
Ralph Nason led the field to the Green Flag but it would be Beaver Dragon who would get a run out of Turn 4 and would lead the first lap and due to how short the race distance was, only 80 laps, drivers only had little time to make their moves and gain as many spots as they could. For Beaver, he pulled away to a three second lead by Lap 30, and then a five second lead by Lap 50 when he began to catch lap traffic, allowing for Mike Barry to close in each lap over the last thirty laps, but it was not enough as Dragon easily led every single lap to score his second win of 1980.
Other Noticeables: Beaver Dragon scored his 2nd win of the year, Dragon led 1 time for 80 laps, which was every single lap, It was the 9th win of his career in the NASCAR North Tour Series and his first since Catamount; 9 races ago, Beaver Dragon, who finished 1st, became the new points leader, leading Bobby Dragon by 14 points
