At Race 4 in New Hampshire, Regan Smith continued his domination streak by taking his 3rd victory in 4 races. There was one caution on the day, when David Starr got spun by Jamie Dick. It involved Starr, Dick, Josh Wise, JJ Yeley, and Tanner Berryhill. Dakoda Armstrong's bad luck streak continues, with his 3rd straight 30s finish after a Top 5 in the first race. The 00 (SR2 Motorsports) and 52 (Jimmy Means Racing) both made the race for the first time.

Race 5 at Gateway brought us some action and a lot of suspense. Kevin Harvick started on the pole, but was only in the lead for 5 laps when Regan Smith, dominator of the series so far, took the reigns. He would be there for almost half of the race, until the first caution came out. Jeremy Clements was slow on the track, and got hit by Chase Elliott. Elliott got a lot of damage, and along with Trevor Bayne, left the race. Because of the way the field was when the caution came out, places 12-31 (lead lap cars) were lined up at the front of the field. Because the Top 11 had to go through lapped traffic, there was a shake up in the order. Sam Hornish Jr., driving the 20 for Matt Kenseth, took the reigns. Kevin Harvick battled fiercely with him. Then, with 10 to go, Jamie Dick popped a Piston and stopped on the backstraight. The field lined up single file again, and it went green with 5 laps to go. 13 cars remained on the lead lap. Hornish held off Harvick, though, and took his first victory of Season 1 and ends JR Motorsports's win streak!

Johanna Long and Jeb Burton have moved to JR Motorsports and will drive the #5 Foretravel Motorcoach and CorvetteParts.net Camaro. The amount of races is undetermined.

The Nationwide cars made their way to upper New York for the 6th race of the season. It is time for some good ol' road course racing! The road course ringers were prominent, with drivers like Michael McDowell, AJ Allmendinger, Juan Montoya, Max Papis, Ron Fellows, Nelson Piquet Jr., Andrew Ranger, and Boris Said. Sam Hornish Jr., known for his road course prowess, captured the pole. Hornish was coming off of a win at Gateway. He would start alongside teammate Michael McDowell. There was many cautions during the race, as rain the day before made the track more slick, especially around the loop. Ron Fellows, driving the #5 AER Manufacturing Camaro, started 10th. He slowly made his way up until one particular caution. He was in 3rd. When the field restarted, he passed McDowell in the first turn. Within the same lap, Fellows got to the lead. He would stay there for the rest of the race, and continue JR Motorsports' domination streak (5 of 6 races won).
