Lap 166/200: Jack Fadden is nearly wrecked by a lap car, but makes an incredible save and is able to continue with minimal damage. This opens the door for Mel Kenyon, who moves into 1st place. He is looking for his first Indy 500 win.  |

Lap 200/200: Kenyon was right on Onagis' bumper going into turn 1, but coming out of two it was clear he had worn out his equipment. Danny Onagis was able to hold on to the slim .3 second margin to win his 2nd Indy 500 in three years. Top Five- 1. #15 Onagis 2. #40 Kenyon 3. #71 Mosely 4. #63 Williams 5. #1 Fadden  |
