SOME INFO
- I will use the real starting lists of the races with some possible changes, so it won't be a true mock season because I don't have enough time and ability to paint cars, but a parallel universe in which the history of sport is rewritten or perhaps reconfirmed as in reality.
- The race length will be 40% with fuel x2.
- I will update the statistics as wins, top 5, top 10 and poles starting from actual data updated to 1989.
- Cars are rated with labontefanboy system.

Race #2 of 29- Pontiac Excitement 400
Starting grid Green flag!  Lap 4, first caution. Butch Miller (#98) spins after a contact with Rusty Wallace  Dale Earnhardt and Ken Schrader have another pace in the first part of the race   Crash between some lapped cars. Unfortunately Ken Schrader is involved and his race is compromised.   Dale Earnhardt is now the leader  Battle for 2nd place between Rusty Wallace, started from 34th spot, and Bill Elliot  Lap 96, incident between Derrik Cope (#10) and Ricky Mast (#2)  Trouble during the caution   Earnhardt decides to stay out, but at one lap to the restart he ran out of fuel. He loses the lead and all his winning chance. He is now 2 laps down.  Two different crash during the restart: Phil Pharson (#4) and Mark Martin (#6). After that, Bill Elliot is the leader    Lap 108 Davey Allison (#28) takes the lead  Lap 139 Caution comes out when Chad Little lose his engine and stall in the middle of the race track  Lap 151 Darrel Waltrip (#17) takes the lead over Davey Allison  Battle for 2nd place with 2 laps to go (Kulwicki (#7), Allison (#28), Wilson (#75)  Darrel Waltrip wins the Pontiac Excitement 400!

Race 3 of 29 - GM Goodwrench 500
Starting Grid
Green Flag!  Rusty Wallace, Ken Schrader and Darrel Waltrip battle for the lead in the firsts laps of the race   Dale Earnhardt and Mark Martin trying to reach the top 3  Ken Schrader is the first one to enter the pit road. After the first round of pit stops he will be leader with 5 seconds on Waltrip, Allison and Earnhardt   Trouble! For the 2nd race in a row Ken Schrader is involved in a crash with a lapped car! This time with Dave Marcis, both cars hit the outside wall and stop in the middle of the track where Dale Earnhardt, Davey Allison, Mark Martin and Geoff Bodine were coming, unfortunately the impact was inevitable. All their winning hopes come to an end at lap 54.     Now, the battle for the lead is between Waltrip and Wallace, chased by Kulwicki, Hillin Jr and Elliot    Lap 99, 2nd caution of the day because of Dick Trickle and J.D. McDuffie  Battle for spot number 4  Lap 127, Huge crash! Harry Gant sends Chad Little in the air. Luckily he has no consequences.   Lap 152, is Wallace vs Hendrick's teammates  Despite having a good margin after a green flag pit stop, the #17 is reached by the pursuers with 7 laps to go. Race #4 of 29 - Motorcraft Quality Parts 500Starting grid
Green flag!  The leaders group in the early stage of the race. Greg Sacks with the pink #46 car in his first race of the season with Team Hendrick.  Daytona 500 winner Geoffrey Bodine leads this group just outside the top 10  Lap 27 first round of green flag pit stops. Ken Schrader is the leader at the end of it  Lap 39, pass for the lead by Bill Elliot   Lap 47, intense battle for the lead, now Ricky Rudd (#5) is up front  Lap 55, CHAOS! Sterling Marlin (#94) is in the fence after a contact with Kulwicki and the rookie Jack Pennington. Sacks and Bailey (out) are also involved. But the chaos it's not over yet, during the yellow flag Dale Earnhardt crashes hard on Ken Schrader's bumper. The #3 is out of the race and his title hopes are fading after a disappointing Daytona 500 and three crashes in as many races.       Lap 67, a few laps after the restarts the big one strikes at Atlanta. Schrader is out and he is in a similar situation of Earnhardt : two of the fastest drivers with their race to the title very complicated.    Lap 89, now the win seems to be a matter for Waltrip, Wallace and Rudd  Lap 116, the battle is between the #17 and the #27ù  Lap 122, Bobby Hillin Jr spins Ricky Rudd, his teammate Greg Sacks is involved as well and they are both out of the race.   Lap 128, at the restart Mike Alexander #12 and Micheal Waltrip #30 made contact. The yellow comes out and it will be the end of the race  Darrel Waltrip wins again for the third time in 4 races!! Hillin is 2nd, Martin 3rd followed by Wallace and Neil Bonnet with the Wood Brothers' Ford.  RACE RESULTS

Race #5 of 29 - TranSouth 500
Starting grid
Formation lap
This trio lead the race in the first laps. On Lap 14 Waltrip takes the lead.
A large group chases the top 3 position
Lap 32, first caution of the day: Means (#52) spins Rick Wilson into the wall, but they can continue the race. After pit stops Waltrip is 1st followed by Earnhardt. Bodine and Elliot (2nd and 3rd before the caution) made a little contact in the pit road and they restart outside the top 10.
Lap 47, Waltrip gives up the head of the race to Davey Allison
Lap 72, Allison enters in the pit road, two laps later Earnhardt does the same. At in the end the #28 will be leader.
Lap traffic helps Earnhardt and Martin to reach the leader
Lap 111, the battle fires up… but it will not last long. Morgan Shepherd and Ricky Mast crash one lap later and the caution comes out
During the stops Allison collides with Mast and he has to continue without his hood. Ricky Rudd wins the race out the pit road.
Lap 121, Dale Earnhardt takes the lead on Ricky Rudd.
Checkered flag, Dale Earnhardt wins at Darlington!
