Thank you for your feedback. I'm really enjoying doing this so far and I appreciate that my posts are followed! ...never gets old seeing what NR2003 will produce next. Oh yes, just look at the standings where there is a driver in 1st position without any wins. It's so unpredicatble. |

Race #11 of 29 - Budweiser 500 @ Dover International Speedway
Starting grid
Green Flag! Lap 3, first of many crashes. Petty spins Horton into the wall in turn 2 and the #80 takes off spectacularly.  
Lap 8, same dynamic, different driver: Bill Elliot goes in the air after a contact with Rick Wilson. Then Ken Schrader hit the #9. All three drivers are out of the race.   Ricky Rudd is the leader followed by Earnhardt  Lap 15, third caution of the day. Cope touches Waltrip and collects the #12 Hut Stricklin in turn 1. Waltrip will continue the race without his hood.   The top 5 of the race one behind the other: #5 Rudd, #6 Martin, #3 Earnhardt, #7 Kulwicki and #11 Bodine  Lap 47, Alan Kulwicki takes the lead 
Lap 60, first cycle of green flag pit stops. Ricky Rudd will be the leader at the end of it.  Rusty Wallace is struggling today. He will lose 2 laps after an unscheduled pit stop.  Lap 74, crash between two race winner contender: Martin and Kulwicki made contact in turn 1 and hit the wall. They can continue the race but the will lose several laps  Two other big wrecks always in turn 3: at lap 97 involving B.Bodine, Mast, Shepherd and K.Petty, at lap 110 involving M.Waltrip and G.Bodine   With 50 laps to go the battle for the win fires up. Earnhardt takes the lead, but after a round of green flag pit stops Rudd prevails and takes the command.   Cautions at lap 164 (Harry Gant brokes is Camshaft stops on the race track) and at lap 187 (Hillin stalls after a contact). In both cases Rudd maintains the lead in front of Earnhardt.   Ricky Rudd is unbeatable today and wins at Dover! In the last 10 laps Earnhardt can not make the winning move on the #5, so the Hendrick Motorsports' driver wins a crashfest of a race leading 174 laps of 200.

Bill Elliott immediately takes the lead in turn 2
The road ringers racing today: #0 Irv Hoerr for Richard Jackson team, #18 Stan Barrett for Hendrick Motorsports, #2 Jim Bown taking the place of Rick Mast in his Pontiac for D.K. Ulrich.   
Lap 13, the front runners made their first stop. On the same lap the first caution comes out after an accident between #12 Hut Stricklin and #40 Tommy Kendall.   
Lap 17, Neil Bonnet broke his header and stalls and the 2nd caution is out. Bill Elliott remains in the lead.  Earnhardt pushed by Martin in the sand.  Alan Kulwicki trying to keep the top-5 after four consecutive retirements.  After leading all the laps Bill Elliott wins at Sears Point! RACE RESULTS

Race #13 of 29 - Miller Genuine Draft 500 @ Pocono Raceway
Starting grid Green Flag!
 Ricky Rudd takes the lead in the first lap 
Lap 3, Bill Elliott passes Rudd for the lead in turn 2.  Lap 9, crash between Richard Petty and Jimmy Horton. The #80 hits the wall in turn 2 and the first yellow comes out. All the field decide to make the first pit stop of the race. Elliot will be the leader.  
Lap 14, big wreck in the back of the pack. The rookie Rob Moroso misses the breaking point in turn 3 and hits Terry Labonte's car causing a huge pileup.   During the caution Darrel Waltrip crashes into Bobby Hillin's Buick. The #17 Chevy is severely damaged.  Sterling Marlin is leading the field  Schrader takes the lead at lap 20 Incredible save by Rusty Wallace! Greg Sacks bumps Wallace in turn 2, with a great move the #27 keeps his car off the wall.  
Lap 28, the front runners followed by Earnhardt, Elliott and Sacks  Lap 36 it's pit stops time. Mark Martin takes the lead after a little contact between Bonnet and the race leader Ken Schrader.   On the same lap Elliott crashes in turn 2 after a contact with a lapped car ( #71 of Dave Marcis). The caution mess up the field, so at the restart Darrel Waltrip, who was in the back with his slow car, followed by Jimmy Means. The #38 of Jim Sauter is in fifth position.    Two other cautions at lap 45 and 53. First is between Sacks and Bodine in turn 1, the second one involves Bodine again and Kulwicki always in the same turn   Great battle for the lead between Wallace, Earnhardt and Schrader   Wallace is the first to make the last pit stop of the race. This choice rewards the #27: he will be first with 10 laps to go.  
Lap 73, Earnhardt and Schrader make contact in turn 2. Luckily the can continue the race.  Kyle Petty is in 2nd after the last pit stop, but with 2 laps to go his Pontiac starts to lose speed. He will finish in 8th place.  Rusty Wallace wins his first race of the season and consolidates the role of 1st in the points standings.

Race #14 of 29 - Miller Genuine Draft 400 @ Michigan International Speedway
Starting grid
Green flag!
 Bill Elliot and Darrel Waltrip take the lead in the first laps  After 19 laps the field starts to spread out 
Lap 21, first pit stops 
Lap 22, big wreck in turn 4 between Alan Kulwicki and Kyle Petty. The #42 stops in the middle of the track and gets hit by other drivers.   
Lap 28, Ken Schrader and Ernie Irvan fighting for the 1° position, then Rick Mast and Morgan Shepherd respectively in third and fourth position.  Lap 44, in an attempt to enter in pit road, Dick Trickle spins out after a contact with Mast causing another big crash with other drivers involved (#30, #66, #70 are out of the race)   Dale Earnhardt and Rusty Wallace battling side by side for the race lead after the restart   Lap 67, last green flag pit stops. Earnhardt gains a couple of second at the end of it 
Lap 68, the third caution comes out. Bonnet spins at the exit of pit road and gets hit by Bobby Hillin Jr. 
Lap 73, Mark Martin takes the lead just after the restart. Three laps later Wallace does the same thing on the #6 Ford   Two laps to go, Bill Elliot in the lead in turn 1  Awesome Bill wins at Michigan!
