Good win for Kyle, I foresee him staying at JGR for a while . Too bad Kurt couldn't make it two in a row for Phoenix Racing.

Race #6 - Goody's Fast Relief 500
The sixth race of the 2012 season was the Goody's Fast Relief 500 at the Martinsville Speedway.
Tony Stewart led the field to the Green Flag but it was Dale Earnhardt Jr. who led the first nine laps as much of the 500 laps would be a compete wreckfest as drivers fell out after almost every caution, the lead changed hands nearly as much as the Daytona 500.
The big story of the day however was Kyle Busch. One week after beating his brother at Auto Club, Kyle came into the event riding a wave of momentum, however that all came to a crashing end at Martinsville. Just 69 laps into the event, Kyle's car broke a Valve and once again Kyle let his emotions get the better of him, yelling and cussing into the radio, saying Joe Gibbs and NASCAR ruined his career. After pulling into the garage, Kyle stormed off without comment as Gibbs looked on and shook his head in disgust. When interviewed an hour later, Gibbs announced that the talented Kyle was no longer employed by JGR "As of this moment, Kyle has run his last race for my team, I can't deal with him anymore." Kyle left the track before anyone could reach him for comment.
Meanwhile on the track, Stewart-Haas Racing would once again show they are the team to beat, leading over half the event as Ryan Newman would take the lead late and would pull away until a late caution would end the race due to debris, handing the win to Newman.
Other Noticeables: Ryan Newman scored his first win of the year, Newman led 10 times for 211 laps, including the final 63 laps, It was the 25th win of his career and his first since Dover last year, 12 races ago, For the second week in a row, Stewart-Haas Racing dominated leading 341 out of the 500 laps as Newman and Stewart finished 1st and 3rd, Geoffrey Bodine, making his first race since Homestead-Miami last year, ran in the Top 15 nearly all day long before suffering mechanical issues and finishing 28th, Carl Edwards, who finished 4th, kept his points lead, now 11 points over Tony Stewart
