Except it's not preparing the Krabby Patty, it's the...
1990 NASCAR Winston Cup Series
Last season, a dramatic title fight ended with rookie Katie Sammonds becoming the first woman to not only win a NASCAR race, but also a NASCAR championship, plus the first rookie to sweep Pocono in a season, and even the second rookie in a row to win the championship.
1990 promises to be another great season of NASCAR racing. There are, however, a few changes:

New Rules Package for Cars
For 1990, NASCAR has implemented a new rules package aimed at reigniting the competition between manufacturers. To that end, they've allowed manufacturers not supporting any teams to field cars to test the waters for a full-time run in the series. These new rules include:
* Engines and chassis now come direct from the manufacturer; these are race-spec and are finely-tuned based on the track type
* Goodyear has developed a new tire called the Eagle, boasting improved grip over the old tires
* Rain tires and windshield wipers for road courses
* Ride height increased by 2 inches
Things that haven't changed:
* Body panels still come directly from the manufacturer
* Restrictor plates are still required on the superspeedways at Daytona, Talladega, Coca-Cola, San Jose, and Progressive
* Mandatory safety equipment (still no HANS device, not until 2002)
First stop: Daytona, for the Busch Clash, then the Daytona 500.
