The field has finished qualifying for the 4th race of the season the Winston 150 at Catamount Stadium.
Bobby Dragon won the pole, with a time of 18.205 seconds, beating Beaver Dragon by 0.178 seconds.
Other Noticeables: Bobby Dragon won his 2nd pole of the year and second in a row, Dragon won his 2nd career pole in the NASCAR North Tour Series and his first since Sanair; 1 race ago, Beaver Dragon, who will be starting 2nd, will be trying to improve on his 26 point lead over Jeb Balise and Gardiner Leavitt

Race #4 - Winston 150
The NASCAR North Tour Series made their 4th stop of 1979 at the Catamount Stadium, in Milton, Vermont, for the Winston 150.
Bobby Dragon led the field to the green and would lead the first two laps before his brother Beaver would pass him for the lead before Bobby would retake the lead as for the second time the NASCAR North Tour Series raced at the Catamount Stadium, where Gardiner Leavitt would be looking to win back-to-back events there. Unlike the first event at the track, there were cautions and great racing, but up front it was similar as Bobby Dragon would lead all but four laps and score his first career NASCAR win.
Other Noticeables: Bobby Dragon scored his 1st win of the year, Dragon led 3 times for 146 laps, including the final 76 laps, It was the 1st win of his career in the NASCAR North Tour Series in his 4th start, Brad Kennedy(8th) and Sonny Bonnett(21st) made their NASCAR North Tour Series debuts, Beaver Dragon, who finished 3rd, kept his points lead, leading Hector Leclair by 30 points

Dan Perez won the pole, with a time of 19.306 seconds, beating Hector Leclair by 0.038 seconds.
Other Noticeables: Dan Perez won his 1st pole of the year, Perez won his 1st career pole in the NASCAR North Tour Series in his 1st start, Beaver Dragon, who will be starting 11th, will be trying to improve on his 30 point lead over Hector Leclair

Race #5 - Molson 100
The NASCAR North Tour Series made their 5th stop of 1979 at the Circuit Deux Montagne, in St. Eustache, Quebec, Canada, for the Molson 100.
Dan Perez led the field to the green but it would be Hector Leclair, who would take the lead in Turn 3, who would lead the first lap. Just like the first event at Circuit Deux Montagne earlier in the season, the driver who started second dominated the race as Hector Leclair would lose the lead only one time, thanks to lap traffic, and would lead all but four laps for his first career NASCAR North Tour Series win.
Other Noticeables: Hector Leclair scored his 1st win of the year, Leclair led 2 times for 96 laps, including the final 32 laps, It was the 1st win of his career in the NASCAR North Tour Series in his 5th start, Dan Perez(6th) and Pete Silva(12th) made their NASCAR North Tour Series debuts, Beaver Dragon, who finished 4th, kept his points lead, leading Hector Leclair by 24 points

Bobby Dragon won the pole, with a time of 18.031 seconds, beating Denis Chicoine by 0.187 seconds.
