Race #6 - Laval 100
The NASCAR North Tour Series made their 6th stop of 1979 at the Autodrome de Laval, in Laval, Quebec, Canada, for the Laval 100.
Bobby Dragon led the field to the green and quickly began to distance himself from everyone else as it appeared Dragon was well on his way to his second win of the season; enter Jamie Aube. Having started in sixth and having to work his way up, Jamie would swap the lead with Dragon before taking the lead with less then twenty laps to go. A late caution would set up a three laps shootout as Dragon would lose track position fast while Jamie would go on and hold off Laurent Rioux for his first career NASCAR North Tour Series win.
Other Noticeables: Jamie Aube scored his 1st win of the year, Aube led 2 times for 50 laps, including the final 16 laps, It was the 1st win of his career in the NASCAR North Tour Series in his 5th start, Dan Bridges(7th), Denis Chicoine(13th), Bill Branham(19th) and J.C. Gratton(22nd) made their NASCAR North Tour Series debuts, Beaver Dragon, who finished 5th, kept his points lead, leading Hector Leclair by 32 points

The field has finished qualifying for the 7th race of the season the Molson 100 at Circuit Deux Montagne.
Tom Rosati won the pole, with a time of 19.316 seconds, beating Claude Leclerc by 0.016 seconds.
Other Noticeables: Tom Rosati won his 1st pole of the year, Rosati won his 1st career pole in the NASCAR North Tour Series in his 7th start, Beaver Dragon, who will be starting 6th, will be trying to improve on his 32 point lead over Hector Leclair

Race #7 - Molson 100
The NASCAR North Tour Series made their 7th stop of 1979 in St. Eustache, Quebec, Canada at Circuit Deux Montagne, for the Molson 100.
Tom Rosati led the field to the green and would lead the first lap before Claude Leclerc would take over the lead. With no cautions flying during the event, Jamie Aube would take the lead around the thirty lap mark and would lead for twenty laps before mechanical problems would strike handing the lead over to Gardiner Leavitt. Once in the lead, Leavitt would keep the lead while Beaver Dragon would work his way up from sixth spot and closed the margin from three seconds down to nearly three car lengths, but it would be Gardiner Leavitt scoring the win.
Other Noticeables: Gardiner Leavitt scored his 2nd win of the year, Leavitt led 1 time for 48 laps, including the final 48 laps, It was the 2nd win of his career in the NASCAR North Tour Series and his first since Catamount; 6 races ago, Randy Corey, who finished 7th, made his NASCAR North Tour Series debut, Beaver Dragon, who finished 2nd, kept his points lead, leading Hector Leclair by 36 points

Bobby Dragon won the pole, with a time of 18.326 seconds, beating Brent Hatch by 0.019 seconds.

Race #8 - Milton 35
The NASCAR North Tour Series made their 8th stop of 1979 in Milton, Vermont at the Catamount Stadium, for the Milton 35.
Bobby Dragon led the field to the green and would lead the first five laps before Tom Rosati would take the lead for one lap before Tom Rosati would take the lead back only to lose it himself the next lap. Once in the lead, Rosati worked his way through the field lapping alot of drivers over the span of thirty laps and when the lone caution came out with one lap to go it sealed the deal and gave Tom Rosati his first career NASCAR North Tour Series win.
Other Noticeables: Tom Rosati scored his 1st win of the year, Rosati led 2 times for 29 laps, including the final 28 laps, It was the 1st win of his career in the NASCAR North Tour Series in his 8th start, Ray Lepage, who finished 12th, made his NASCAR North Tour Series debut, Beaver Dragon, who finished 10th, kept his points lead, leading Hector Leclair by 37 points
