I never knew this series existed!
Anyway, Beaver Dragon (that's a bizarre name if I ever heard one) won in real life, while Gardiner Leavitt finished 7th.

Race #2 - Molson 100
The NASCAR North Tour Series made their 2nd stop of 1979 at Circuit Deux Montagne, in St. Eustache, Quebec, Canada, for the Molson 100.
Jamie Aube led the field to the green as he would lead the first eight laps as for the second race in a row drivers raced on a 0.333 mile track, however just like the first event, the low lane was the only one with rubber on the track resulting in very few passing. Jamie Aube's stay up front was only eight laps before Bobby Dragon would pass him and begin to pull away from the rest of the field. Unlike the first event, a caution would actually fly allowing drivers to pit and make sure they wouldn't run out of gas setting up a less then fifty lap shootout to see who would win.
With the green back out, Bobby Dragon once again pulled away but right on his back bumper was Claude Aubin, who was making his NASCAR North Tour Series debut. Aubin followed Dragon for nearly forty laps before waiting for the right moment and passing Dragon for the lead while dealing with lap traffic. With only less then ten laps to go, Claude Aubin was easily able to hold off Dragon for his first ever win.
Other Noticeables: Claude Aubin scored his 1st win of the year, Aubin led 1 time for 12 laps, including the final 12 laps, It was the 1st win of his career in the NASCAR North Tour Series in his 1st start, Claude Aubin(1st), Keith Cavanagh(7th) and Roger Laperle(16th) made their NASCAR North Tour Series debuts, Gardiner Leavitt, who finished 10th, kept his points lead, leading Beaver Dragon by 2 points

How about that, Aubin finished ahead of the Dragon brothers (I'm assuming they're brothers but I could be wrong) in the real race, only there it was Beaver 2nd and Bobby 3rd.
