*Note, for this race I actually did find a Orange County Speedway however the racing and more then twenty pits made it not that great a race so from now on I'm going to keep using Peach State Speedway as a replacement.

The NASCAR Budweiser Late Model Sportsman Series didn't have to travel far for the 19th stop of the season in Rougemont, North Carolina, the site of the Orange County Speedway for the Mello Yello 200.
Bob Shreeves led the field to the green flag on a clear day and would lead the first nine laps before being passed by Sam Ard, much of the race was run behind the pace cars as caution after caution would come out due to a small spin as drivers struggled to get use to the track on a clear day as a record 13 different drivers would lead at some point during the race setting a new NASCAR Budweiser Late Model Sportsman Series that had lasted for almost a whole year.
As the laps counted down it turned into a three car battle, Butch Lindley, Eddie Falk and Jack Ingram all led late as Falk looked to win in back to back races but he was passed late by Lindley with only 5 laps to go as Lindley would drive away and score his second ever win in NASCAR's secondary series.

Race #20 - Coca-Cola 200
The NASCAR Budweiser Late Model Sportsman Series didn't have to travel far for the 20th stop of the season in South Boston, Virginia, the site of the South Boston Speedway for the Coca-Cola 200.
Dale Jarrett led the field to the green flag and would lead the first 18 laps as it turned out to be a warm night in Virginia as drivers raced for the 4th time in 1983 at South Boston. Much of the night the racing would be intense with drivers fighting hard for every position while wrecks and mechanical issues would knock several drivers out of the racing including Jarrett.
