The Intimidator started 2rd in the actual race, with pole position going to Larry Pearson, who starts 35th here, strangely enough.

Race #33 - Miller Time 300
The NASCAR Budweiser Late Model Sportsman Series didn't have to travel far for the 33rd stop of the season in Concord, North Carolina, the site of the Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Miller Time 300.
Dale Earnhardt led the field to the Green Flag and would lead the first 17 laps as Earhardt looked to be a strong contender until he was caught up in the "big one" and would never be the same again. With Earnhardt out of contention, the group known as the "Alabama Gang" that consisted of "leader" Bobby Allison, Neil Bonnett and Davey Allison, completely dominated the day leading 177 of the 200 laps. Bonnett would lose a lap late in the event and was never able to catch up, Bobby would lead the most laps but would get lapped as well with less then twenty to go leaving his son Davey in the lead.
Davey Allison would show a lot of matureness in his drive and showed the entire world he would be a threat in NASCAR as he led 47 laps and appeared on his way to victory but lap traffic on the final lap would slow him down, allowing for points leader Sam Ard to drive on by, leading only the last lap, and score his ninth win of the season and expanded his point lead with only two races to go in the season.
Other Noticeables: Sam Ard scored his 9th win of the year, Ard led 1 time for 1 lap, including the final lap, Ard scored his 13th career NASCAR Budweiser Late Model Sportsman Series win and his first since Martinsville 3 races ago, Lake Speed(4th), Richie Panch(5th), Lee Faulk(13th), David Ray Boggs(18th), Mike Alexander(21st) and Tony Cunningham(31st) made their NASCAR Budweiser Late Model Sportsman Series debuts, Sam Ard, who finished 1st, kept his points lead, leading Jack Ingram by 138 points

For what I think is the 3rd time in Oreius real race history, the winner (Sam Ard in this case) and last-place finisher (Darryl Sage) were exactly the same as in real life!

Tommy Houston, who starts 18th here, won the pole in the actual race. Can't say where Bosco Lowe started in the actual race, though.

Jack Ingram won the race in real life, too!
In addition, he and Sam Ard battled for the real 1983 Grand National championship. Sam Ard won it in reality, but can he do it here as well?

Not to be too picky here, but it says -123 for showing the top 2 in points, but under Noticeables it says 128 point lead. Just helping out!
